Primitive Desires and Modern Shadows

Primitive Desires and Modern Shadows examines how the human body is shaped by instinct and by social framing. Direct, sometimes confrontational imagery addresses visibility and concealment, and questions how bodies are represented and interpreted.

Subseries “Like at the beginning”:

Like at the Beginning focuses on early human curiosity and basic forms of experimentation. The subseries presents constructed, often exaggerated scenarios that refer to invention, discovery, and instinct. Figures ranging from Neanderthals engaged in proto-scientific acts to a man confronted with an oversized banana combine humor with structural reflection.
